She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was in 2012 the second female to receive the So You think That You're Funny award. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Bea was a trainer for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young days. However, she knew it wasn't something she wanted to pursue in a career and she preferred to perform.
